Dawn After Night, Spring After Winter
Hutchinson’s Bank Trail
Post Six
As you come to each post, stop for a moment to read each prompt and build your story as you walk. You can also play this at home on an imaginary adventure.

6: Down, down, down
Leaving the glade, go through the gate and turn right, down the steep bank. We’re going down, right into the heart of Hutchinson’s Bank. As you walk further, do you see any paths in the grasses? It could be a badger trail.
Now let’s build our story.
What legends and rumours exist about the natural world in your story?
There’s a flower that only blooms at night
That you can dig treacle out of the ground
There’s an orchid that looks like a bee
There’s a unicorn deep in the woods
A great beast haunts the land
Invent something else
Imagine what your character believes about the world. How does it change how they act?
