Post Seven

As you come to each post, stop for a moment to read each prompt and build your story as you walk. You can also play this at home on an imaginary adventure.

7: Around the field

As you reach the bottom, turn right, and then left and down.

Think about the sounds and smells around you. What do you hear? What do you smell? What do you see? Do you see a Grizzled Skipper Butterfly, with its checkered wings, dancing between the wildflowers? Let some of those details enter your story. Draw something that you see, or something you invent. Now let’s build our story.

What lives in nature in your story?

  1. Gentle creatures

  2. Watching spirits

  3. Beautiful butterflies

  4. Delicate flowers and wild orchids

  5. A system of emergent conciousness

  6. Invent something else

Think about the trees, talking to each other through their roots, helping their community thrive. Is there something hiding in the bushes, a pair of eyes watching over you while you descend further? Maybe they want to help?
