1: The entryway
You stand at the threshold. Around you, the woods you know fade away. You see the scene ahead, not as familiar, but as if you’re seeing it for the very first time. This place appears similar to your home planet, but you know that it’s different in every way. All that was apparently everyday is now alien. It’s time to step forward into this new world.
Look around you. What do you notice?
A twig
A leaf
A stone
A sound
A smell
Something else
Think about this thing that you’ve noticed. How did it get here? What is its purpose? What does it mean? What would you tell your journal about this thing?
