7. Fungi
As you walk, you’ll see something else growing on the trees, in the earth – fungi. What you see on the surface are mostly white delicate growths; mushrooms, but they’re just the visible seeding fruit for a much larger organism beneath. Don’t touch these as they are both fragile and can be poisonous. But they are beautiful. What different kinds can you see? Where are they living?
Try to describe them to your journal. Remember, nothing like this has been seen where you’re from.
Try to describe every detail of one specimen. Imagine what their life might be like.
