Time: 9:45 - 11:30am for Forest school Activity / 10:15am-12pm for the BSL Guided Walk & the artist walk
Where to meet us: Please meet us outside Fisher’s Farm Recycling Centre, North Downs Rd, New Addington, Croydon CR0 0LB.
Please be on time for your event as we will be walking together to get to the start of the trail or to the start of the Forest school session.
What to wear & bring: This event will take place in all weathers. Please wear suitable footwear (closed-toe shoes) and clothing for the conditions on the day. We strongly recommend that you wear long sleeved clothing and cover legs due to the risk of brambles or tick bites. If sunny, it is also recommended that children taking part wear a hat and sunscreen. Please also bring a water bottle and snacks as there are no refreshments available nearby. Please also bring any medication you require such as asthma inhalers or epi pens. No toilets available.

The Hutchinson’s Bank trail is managed by the Downlands Partnership & London Wildlife Trust. Please note that this route is not Wheelchair accessible or buggy friendly.
It is a large area of beautiful secluded chalk grassland and woodland, supporting many rare plants and insects, which has benefited from the return of traditional grazing. The paths are a mix of steep and narrow trails, it will sometimes be overgrown and may become slippery in wet weather. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for this terrain. There are benches available at various points.

Follow the path using the trail sign posts to navigate your way to Hutchinson’s Bank, Featherbed Lane, New Addington, Croydon
CR0 0JT
From Central Parade in New Addington it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance of Hutchinson’s Bank
