The Box Hill trail is a National Trust Natural Play trail funded by Surrey Hills, it is Wheelchair accessible. The trail is a loop of just less than one-mile where the surface is more accessible. This is mostly level and surfaced for much of its length. The paths are well maintained but may become slippery in wet or wintry weather.

How to find the Box Hill Trail:
Shepherd’s Hut, The Old Fort, Box Hill Road, Tadworth, Surrey KT20 7LB
Start at the Shepherd’s Hut and join the trail head of the Natural Play Trail. Once on the route, it is well waymarked with an easy to follow route back to the car park.
Rail:
Box Hill and Westhumble, cross beneath the A24 to Burford Bridge Hotel, then 11⁄2 miles (2.4km) to the summit.
Bus:
Arriva 465 Kingston to Dorking to foot of Box Hill, 1 1⁄2 miles (2.4km) to summit.
