Islands of Weirdhope

Launched and already fully funded within 4 hours!
Players set sail as Windwaker meets Waterworld in this rules light procedure-heavy TTRPG for solo and group play. Explore a near-future hazardous but hopeful world, smashing Corpo Schemes while discovering Monsters and Mecha lurking beneath the waves, guzzling ambergris to learn new spells. Explore an optimistic new world, weirdhope not grimdark.
Islands of Weirdhope is a psychedelic self-contained new game with minimalist rules for group or Solo play that compliments the ECO MOFOS!! rulebook, exploring the wonders and weirdness of the future seas. The game imagines a possible future brimming with hope but fundamentally weird. Built from procedural content generation, the GM can enjoy the surprise as much as the player Punks.
Uncover an uncanny and colourful world: a post-post-apocalyptic landscape, where coral covers submerged silos and tech is rediscovered and repurposed for this new world. Sailing across a vast archipelago of sunken cities and volcanic islands, punks will brave the Abyssal seas, confront mutated manta ray and renegade replicants, and delve into the depths of billionaire’s bunkers to salvage USBs of information about the world before.
The book is an A5-sized hardback, 140 pages long, full-colour throughout, featuring Daniel Locke’s vibrant illustrations. It is the next chapter of David Blandy and Daniel Locke’s collaboration to find new ways to tell memorable stories, a self-contained game that also acts as a supercharged add-on to the core ECO MOFOS!! book.
